With a proud history dating back many centuries Arles makes a splendid holiday centre. Its position on the Rhone makes it the natural gateway to the Camargue and its Roman walls and imposing Arena, still used for festivals and bullfights, create a timeless ambiance. Van Gogh produced over 300 paintings and drawings during his time there.
Situated within the walls and in the heart of the old town the hotel dates from the 15th century. There are 47 rooms all individually decorated with classic provencal antique furniture, with bath and shower, wc, minibar, TV and telephone. There is a breakfast room, bar and lounges and a heated swimming pool in the garden.
